Our President and CEO Gilda E. Pico recently issued a Special Order to convene the Committee on Economic Proposal.
The Committee composed of representatives from the management and LBPEA is tasked to study the proposals of LBPEA on the improvement of our existing benefits subject to approval of the Board.
Both the economic and non-economic proposals were submitted to the management before expiry of the 2nd CNA. But in accordance with law, we are only allowed to negotiate on the non-economic aspect of the CNA. Hence, our 3rd Collective Negotiation Agreement contained only our non-economic proposal.
The economic aspect of the proposal is subject to a different venue. As a matter of fact, part of the proposal was already granted by the management in 2008.
